Home base in Morton Grove
Our home base is Morton Grove, ZIP 60053, where the village has a mix of combined and separate sewers. That matters if you live in the northeastern part of the village, where heavy rain can push water back into basements. Calls from anywhere in the village are handled 24/7 through the same dispatch line at (847) 281-8626.
The five towns we also serve
Niles uses ZIP 60714 and shares the water commission with Morton Grove, so tap water there matches ours. If a water heater or filter question comes up, the Morton Grove advice applies in Niles as well.
Skokie is much bigger, with ZIPs 60076 and 60077. It buys water from the City of Evanston as a wholesale customer, so Skokie homes see the same moderate hardness. Because it is a large village, give the dispatcher your cross streets along with the ZIP.
Glenview has ZIPs 60025 and 60026 and buys its water from Wilmette. Its 2018 report lists hardness near 8.2 grains per gallon, a little higher than Evanston's figure for Morton Grove. That is useful when you are sizing a water softener.
Lincolnwood is small, with one ZIP, 60712, and borders Chicago and Skokie. Its Lake Michigan water also traces back to Evanston.
Park Ridge uses ZIP 60068 and gets all of its water from the City of Chicago, a different supplier than Morton Grove. Check the right utility when you have a water quality or line question.
How coverage works
The dispatcher confirms coverage by address, not by ZIP alone. We do not promise arrival times or mileage, because they change with traffic and weather. What stays the same is the process. A licensed plumber looks first, explains the problem and gives a clear price before the work starts.
If your town is not listed, call anyway. A dispatcher can tell you quickly whether your address is covered, and there is no form to fill out. Have your street address and the nearest cross street ready so the call stays short.
